The Mission of the VHFSouth Contest Group is to promote all forms of VHF+ activity for stations in the 5th Call District. Specifically, the Members of VHFSouth are committed to the improvement of the individual, contest, and rover stations in our area. We will work towards more and better contest participation as well as more general activity on the VHF+ bands. To those ends, we commit ourselves to "Elmer" VHF+ operators by teaching and showing, so that a new generation of VHFers can enjoy the upper bands as we do.
